It acts as a mobile switch:

Mobile Switch is a device which will be helpful to switch on
and off any electrical/electronic devices through a SMS. The
parameters of these devices can be monitored remotely and
will also be able to set the limit for alerts.

How it works ?

1. Interface the analog or digital signal with input lines (for monitoring)
   or output lines (for controlling and monitoring)
2. Attach GSM modem with an active SIM card to Mobile Switch
3. Configure the mobile access list from PC interface
4. Configure the alert message and threshold limit for automatic alerts for different lines
5. User can send SMS to mobile SIM card attached to Mobile Switch
6. Mobile Switch sends alerts if threshold limit is crossed and responds
   to control or monitoring request for allowed mobile numbers
